Targeted development processes are of crucial importance in the pharmaceutical industry. The compact benchtop device MiniLab RC (RC stands for Rapid Change) covers several processes like drying, spray-granulation, pellet- and powder-coating. The intuitive operation takes place via an integrated fully graphical display. Furthermore, the system has numerous glass components for good visual monitoring and easy cleaning due to tool-free disassembly. The range of batches reaches from 0,2 to 3,2 kg.
Measuring parameters like inlet air, outlet air as well as product temperature provide a complete overview of the technical processes. Furthermore, fluid bed bowls of three sizes, i.e. 3, 5 or 7 litres capacity as well as a micro unit (1 litre) are available. Top and tangential spray as well as wurster coating processes can be carried out.
The flexible and mobile laboratory system MidiLab RC has been designed for batch sizes between 1 and 10 kg and is available in several different versions. The modular equipment is customised for individual requirements and allows a fast product and process development. The compact design, easy access to the technical components, together with the swiveling and tipping material bowl ensure excellent suitability for daily use. The partly automated cleaning saves valuable time.
Four interchangeable bowls with 11, 12, 16 and 20 litres capacity are available. The MidiLab RC offers options for the operation with solvents and for containment solutions. The swiveling and tilting operator terminal with stainless-steel housing enables a flexible adjustment for the operator. In addition to the fluid bed module, the MidiLab RC also offers a coater and a high-shear mixer module.
Independent from agglomeration, drying or coating: After R&D, all processes are transferred to clinical batch scale and get closer to full-scale production. The fluid bed processor CAP 10 - 80 RC is especially designed for the production of clinical batches and is characterised by a rapid change (RC) of the material bowl as the bowls are located on a carriage. Furthermore, the low height of the system allows it to be used in rooms with limited ceilings. Thanks to the swiveling expansion zone the access to filters is easy and ensures ergonomic maintenance works. The automation of all sequences simplifies the individual working processes. Additional material bowls, a GMP-compliant charging and discharging unit as well as customised containment solutions are available.
Available in eight sizes, the CAP 150 - CAP 1800 series offers solutions for each capacity. While the “Through the Wall”-design provides a clear separation of production and technical area, the whole plant is PLC/PC controlled and operated via touch screen. Our diverse range of suitable components including e.g. binder tanks, mills and vacuum conveyor systems enables customised solutions for the production process.
The choice of optional equipment comprises a swiveling material bowl, containment solutions for highly active substances as well as different filter types. Furthermore, individual supply and exhaust air systems as well as WIP/CIP cleaning are available.
In addition to our fluid bed processors we are offering systems that can perform multiple work steps. The mixer-granulators facilitate the production of dry mixtures and wet granulates whereas the integrated granulation line combines fluid bed technology with mixing-granulating.
